We walk alongside mothers, protect children, and strengthen the families at the heart of every community — with dignity, evidence, and long-term commitment.
We began in 2018 as a small group of community health workers responding to preventable maternal deaths in rural clinics. What we heard, again and again, was that mothers did not lack will — they lacked access. To care, to income, to voice, to safety. Since then, that same listening still shapes everything we do.
The Mother & Child Support and Empowerment Foundation is a registered nonprofit working across maternal health, child protection, family economic resilience, and community systems strengthening. We partner with local leaders, health facilities, schools, and governments to build programs that last beyond any single grant cycle.
Our work is guided by a simple belief: when a mother is supported, a child thrives — and when families are strong, communities become resilient.
Each program is designed to address a specific barrier mothers and children face — and to connect with the others, so no family falls through the gaps.
Our maternal health program trains community health workers, equips rural clinics, and provides direct support to pregnant and postpartum mothers — from prenatal care through the first critical year of a child's life.

Through savings groups, vocational training, micro-enterprise grants, and financial literacy, we help mothers build stable incomes — the single strongest predictor of child wellbeing in the communities we serve.
We partner with local governments, health facilities, and civil society to strengthen the public systems families depend on — so progress doesn't depend on any single project or donor.
